Alan L Berta
Alan Louis Berta
Alan Louis Berta, age 84, passed away at Medical Center Hospital on Saturday, December 26, 2015. He was born on August 3, 1931 in Bartlesville, OK to Mike and Leona (Noble) Berta. Alan married Jean Berta June 16, 1955 in Carlsbad, NM and they spent 53 years together before being separated by her death in 2009.
Alan was a man who liked to travel. He was very fond of Fun Valley in Colorado. He enjoyed playing Joker and watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. Alan was very skilled with his hands and was always building or fixing things. Alan served his country in the U.S. Army. He was exceptionally proud of his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could.
Those preceding him in death include his wife: Jean Berta; his parents: Mike and Leona Berta; sister: Shirley Wagner and daughter-in-law: Micky Berta.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons: Mike and wife Brenda Berta of Gardendale, TX; Ray Berta of Hobbs, NM; Bryan Berta and wife Celeste of Andrews, TX; daughter: Becky Kubisak and husband Jeff of Los Lunas, NM; eight grandchildren: Jason, Michael, Jennifer, Randal, Cole, Karrisa, Bailee, and Harmony; and thirteen great-grandchildren: Gage, Taylor, Payton, Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, Brody, Colton, Taylor, Issiah, Xavier, Teagan, Maddy and Avery.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Family Services Funeral Parlor with Glenda Mixon officiating. Interment will follow at Kermit Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Jason Berta, Michael Berta, Cole Clark, Kevin Brown, Justin Hamm, and Doro Mendoza. Honorary Pallbearers will include: Milton Hopkins, Gage Berta, and Randal Clark.  Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor.

Willard G House
Williard Gage House
Williard Gage House, age 85, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015. He was born in San Saba, TX on Sunday, July 20, 1930, to Elmer Eugene and Ollie (Gage) House.

“Sonny” as many called him, retired after working over 30 years with El Paso National Gas. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns play football. Sonny was very adamant in playing and recording country and gospel music. Williard was dedicated to God and his church, where he was a deacon and teacher for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife: Donna House of Kermit, TX.; one son: Edward Michael House of Junction, TX.; two brothers: EM House of Goldthwaite, TX. and Jerry M. House of San Saba, TX.; three grandchildren: Kelly, Michael and Justin: six great grandchildren: Coltin, Austin, Gage, Allison, Treasure and Destinee; one great-great-grandchild: Adalynn.

He was preceded in death by his three sisters: Willie Gene House, Geraldine Williams and Anita Crown and her parents.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Monday, January 4, 2016 at Belvue Baptist Church with Bill Campbell officiating. Pallbearers will be: James Burns, Mitchell Sims, Kelly House, Michael House, Justin House and Cody Purcell. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Belvue Baptist Church, EM House, Jerry House, Dub King, Tim Stansel, Gage House, Coltin House, Austin House, Treasure Skelton, and Destinee Taylor.

Interment will be 2:00pm, January 5, 2016 at San Saba City Cemetery in San Saba, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belvue Baptist Church, PO Box 955 Kermit, TX 79745 or Jerusalem Jewish Prayer Team, C/O Mike Evans, PO Box 30000, Phoenix, AZ 85096-9932.
