She was an avid gardener and could always be found in the garden watering her roses and planting flowers. She enjoyed embroidering, and visiting friends and loved-ones. Always with a quick wit and easy laugh, Mary was known throughout the town for her independent nature and love of life.  Mary was active even into her 90’s, and went to the dances every week.  She was always ready to "go somewhere," and loved to take car trips.  Grandma Mary will be sadly missed by her family and those whose lives she touched.

                                                       Till Roses lose their petals

Till the heather has lost it's dew

Till the end of time, dear Mother

                                                           We will remember you.

                                                          If roses grow in Heaven

Lord please pick a bunch for us

Place them in my mother's arms

And tell her they're from us.

Tell her we love her and miss her

And when she turns to smile

Place a kiss upon her cheek

                                                            And hold her for awhile..
